About the Session

Your baby’s first birthday is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, and what better way to celebrate than with a Cake Smash Photo Shoot in Cape Town? Our professional Cake Smash sessions in Brackenfell, Cape Town capture the joy, laughter, and messy fun of your little one digging into their very own cake!

The Studio

Sessions take place in my cozy home-based studio in Brackenfell, Cape Town.

Dietary Requirements & Cakes

We do not cater for special dietary requirements for cake smash cakes. If your child has allergies or dietary restrictions, you are welcome to bring your own cake. In this case, the total session cost will be reduced by R200.

Who can be included?

We can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children in the studio. To ensure a smooth and distraction-free session, we kindly request that additional family members refrain from entering the studio during the shoot.

What to Wear

We’ve got you covered! We have a small range of adorable outfits for little ones up to 3 years old. Parents & siblings must arrive dressed and ready in their own outfits, with families/siblings limited to one outfit. Parents typically wear jeans and a white t-shirt for a timeless, classic look. Bath Time Fun!

We offer a bath-time session after the cake smash for extra fun and adorable photos.

Bubble Bath – Due to sensitive skin, eczema, and allergies, we do not provide bubble bath products. If you prefer a bubble bath, please bring your own baby-safe bubble bath.

Milk Bath – If you’d like a milkbath session, parents must bring:

✔ 1L of milk ✔ Sliced fruit of your choice (apples, oranges, strawberries, or cucumber)

Image Delivery:

• We offer a 14-day turnaround time (excluding weekends and public holidays) throughout the year, so if you want your portraits for a specific event or date please book early.
• Selection of Images: I will personally select and edit the best images from your session, so you don’t have to stress about choosing.
• Your images will be delivered via a password-protected email gallery for easy downloading.

How to Book?

Book online via our website! Select your date, make your payment, and receive instant confirmation. Payment options include full upfront payment, or flexible 6-week or 3-month installment plans via Payflex and PayJustNow. The best part? You can continue your payments even after your session — and still receive your final images within our 14-day turnaround time.

Important Information:

• Arrive strictly on time for your scheduled session. Early arrivals cannot be accommodated.
• A R500 late fee applies after 15 minutes (no exceptions), payable before the session starts. Sessions will be canceled after 30 minutes of late or no arrival.
• A R750 rescheduling fee applies if you reschedule within 3 weeks of your session. After this period, a new booking is required.
• All booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable but will be deducted from your package price.
• Pricing is subject to change without notice.

Important Notice:

Please only book your session if you’ve reviewed our work on Facebook/Instagram and can see yourself in the style of images we create. The photos on our website and social media are a true reflection of our style, so we kindly ask that you do not send us images from other photographers as inspiration.
